Happy New Year to all who read this! The card shown here is made with a Simon Says Stamp background stamp. With the pretty name: Bohemian Lace. SSS101858. Stamped and heat embossed with Sparkle Gold embossing powder by WoW.
The heart shape is a die by Altenew. Gold paper by Sostrene Grenes and cut the Numbers of it with Cuttlebug and Number dies by Docrafts.
Merry Christmas to who this read! The following cards are some of my favorites! The background script stamp is Hero Arts. K5344."La Letter." It is stamped on top of THS032 Flourish Layering Stencil by Stampers Anonymus. And after that I stamped some Hero Arts Snowflakes on it. And a Hero Arts sentiment. The black images are cut with my Cricut Machine.
After I saw some cards with snowflakes on Instagram, made by Barb, I had to try them myself. And she saw them from someone else. So fun how you can be inspired by others. The snowflake is a die by Simon Says Stamp. After die cutting, I covered the snowflakes with Stickles. Behind the snowflake an area is colored with Distress Inks. The sentiment on the pink one says Winter Greetings in dutch.
The background is a background stamp by Hero Arts. First stamped the background and heat embossed it with WoW Embossingpowders.
The sentiment on the left is a print made with my computer, and the right one is from a Hero Arts stampset.
These cards were easy to make, and with a fun result!
The card I am sharing today is made with a stencil.
The Flourish Layering Stencil by Stampers Anonymous. I already used it often. It is Gorgeous. First added the stencil on top of a peace of Pearl notecard. Than covered it with Wendi Vecchi embossing paste. Next poured some WoW Silver Hologram Sparkle embossingpowder over it and heat embossed it. This proces gives a beautiful raised effect! This idea is not mine. It comes from Jennifer Mcquire. She always comes with the most wonderful ideas!
The sentiment is Hero Arts. And I added some snowflakes by Craft Emotions.
Last week I playef with the Folk Dance Die by Simon Says Stamp. I made two cards with it. One is Holiday related, the other is not. For the first card I cut a piece of paper with the die. Bevor using it for a card I used it for my second card as a stencil. I put the "stencil" on a piece of paper I already had colored with green Ink. Then applied glimmer paste over it and lifted the "stencil" from it. The result you see on the second Holiday themed card in this blog post. For the first card I used the "stencil" as a gorgeous glimmery background. Added a a vellum heart and the word Hugs. Wich is a die cut by SSS.
The vellum heart is cut with a Altenew die cut.
For this card I made a sentiment with my printer and foiled it with my Mini Minc. The Circle is Spellbinders. The holly is a punch.
I was lucky to be able to participate in the Online Card Class: Clean and Simple Holiday. For the Class I made several cards and this card is for day 3: Use your scraps! For this card I used the leftover of the card below. The card with the 3 candles. These cards, to be more precise, 310 of them, are in the make for the elderly people of our Church community. They will get the card with a little present and a visit of one of us. What is more important: the card of the visit? Who knows?
But, from the leftover peace with the cutout flames I made the card above.
Paper by Basic Grey. Glitter paper by Sostrene Grene. Flames are cut with my Cricut.
A part of this poem will be added in the card. And in the back you see the tablecloth of our Church. Haha.
Last week I made this summer related card. I combined stamps from Hero Arts with stamps from Simon Says Stamp.
The fishes on the left are SSS. And the fishes on the right are Hero Arts and so is the sentiment and the background stamp. The background stamp was originally a Christmas stamp, but in my opinion it can be seen as waves too. Fishes are colored with Copic Markers and covered with Glossy Accents. The background is colored with Distress Inks.
Oceans of Joy is what I feel when stamping and coloring the fishes and under the sea animals which are on this card! First I stamped the Hero Arts "Magical Background" and heat embossed it with WoW white embossing powder. Colored it with Pistachio DistressInk. The fishes are from Simon Says Stamp "Under the sea animals" and Hero Arts "Oceans of Joy" stampsets. After coloring the fishes and animals with Copic Markers I used a "Wink of Stella" shimmerpen to give them a little glimmer and covered them with Glossy Accents. I have seen that at Yana Smakula's blog and liked it so much!
Here you can see the glossy layer a little bit at the crab.
At the moment I am experimenting with a Pretty Pink Posh stampset with the name: "Flourishing Fuchsias". This is stamped on watercolor paper. And colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp. Added some washitape at the bottom, and some splatters and sequins.
Love the peaceful feel of sunday afternoon. Time for crafting! Today I finished some projects I started earlier. This card is one of them. The "Night and Day flowers" is a stampset by Hero Arts. Stamped and heat embossed in gold and colored with Distress Inks. There is no sentiment on this card. Sometimes I prefer a card without a sentiment. This card goes to someone who just came home from hospital.
Here I like to show you a golden bouquet. It was for my mothers birthday. I am still working with the Hibiscus Bouquet stampset by Altenew. Love this stampset so much. I think because of the style of the flowers fits my heart. Especially in gold. Made a background with swirls of Crafty Individuals stamped in gold. The flowers are stamped and heat embossed in gold on vellum. Then colored with Copic Markers at the back side. The sentiment is dutch for Happy Birthday.
And I Love it sooo much! Love the delicate flowers and the gorgeous pink shades of the buds and Then on to white flowers!
This inspired me to make a card with similar flowers on it. Found the Clearly Besotted stampset with these flowers in it. Isn't it sweet?! Colored the flowers with Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Tried to get the delicate look on it. The pink notecard is glossy pink on the outside and white on the inside. Very pretty, and great that it has a white inside to write on.
Here in the Netherlands you see the Magnolia trees flowering all around. I really love the sight of it, it makes me happy. Spring is having a quick start now. On a stampset by Altenew I found these flowers wich do think me of Magnolia flowers. This stampset has the name "Hibiscus Bouquet". Stamped the flowers with Versamark, heat embossed them and colored them with Distress Inks and added some color over it with colored pencils. Arranged them and that was it.
Hete is another card I made with the "Wild Rose" stampset by Pretty Pink Posh. The flowers are colored with Distress Inks. The leaves are from the "Beautiful Day" stampset by Altenew. And the sentiment is Hero Arts. In the background a stamp I got from a dear friend.
A while ago I made this big card for Church. Used an older Hero Arts flower stamp for this card. Colored it inspired by Kathy Raccoosin. There are a lot of elements on this card, such as the leaves. They are from the Beautiful Day stampset by Altenew. And the feathers are from PapertreyInk. The background is an Hero Arts background stamp with the name Friendship.
The flower is first colored with Copic Markers and than over it with color pencils and added some white dots to finish it of.
Last weeks I am experimenting with the "Hibiscus Bouquet" stampset by Altenew. I love the loose style of the flowers. Stamped the flowers on watercolor paper and colored them with Distress Inks. The silver element is cut with my Cricut machine. The sentiment is Hero Arts.
I really, really Love the flowers of the "Wild Rose" stampset by Pretty Pink Posh! They are fun to color and easy to cut. Here I used them for a small and simple card with no sentiment. The background stamp is by Hero Arts. S1586 Plaid Pattern. And the label is by Walzing Mouse stamps. The leaves are Altenew stamps.
The flowers and the leaves are colored with Distress Inks.
At this moment, as I write this, I am sitting in the sun, finally. What a blessing! And it is almost Easter. That means an extra day off, here in the Netherlands. But the true meaning of Easter is the ressurection of Jesus, and for me the most important reason to celebrate. I sent out some Easter cards with poems on the inside. And this is one of them. Made with the Lovely "Friendship Blooms" stampset by SSS. And a Hero Arts background stamp with leaves. The curved edge is a SSS die. Super easy and so fun to do! Wish you all a Blessed Easter!
This card is made with a little stamped Daffodil from a stampset by Clearly Besotted. Got this stampset from Virginia last summer while she visited Europe. Thank you Virginia! It is so sweet of you! The poem on the card is made by another, dutch, friend. It has all to do with Easter. So, again a card full of friendship and sharing what we believe in and what do like most: creating!
Perfect words, the title of todays post and the name of one of the stampsets in the March kit by Simon Says Stamp. Not always easy to choose Joy. But when I am thinking of Spring is coming I feel Joy. Love the feel and the smell of the Spring air. For this card I used the "Birthday Wishes Frame" by Simon Says Stamp and the cute boots from the "Choose Joy" stampset. Colored the image with Copic Markers and completed it with some pearls and a little bow.
The title of todays post is the name of one of Simon Says Stamps stampsets, with beautiful daffodils. I really Love this stampset so much! Here is a card I made with this stampset. In the background I used a stencil by JOY! The dotted paper is Papertrey Ink. And the branch I added is the "Singel Branch" by Impression Obsession.
The seize of this card is big: an A4 folded in half.
Today's start was rainy, but later on we got some sunshine and the temperature was lovely for february. I went out with my bike: a beautiful day! And thats also the name of a wonderful stampset by Altenew. I made a card with this stampset wich I show here. Colored the flower with Distress Inks in reds and added some Gansai Tambi watercolor in White Gold on the leaves. The background stamp is Hero Arts. The sentiment tag is by Joy crafts.
A sunday afternoon greeting from a cold Holland. There was time for a walk and some time for crafting. Made a card with some blue flowers with a bit of a spring feel. Colored these Hero Arts flowers with Copic Markers and Derwent Color Soft Pencils on top to give it a bit of dept. Used Kathy Raccoosins tips for coloring.
