One stamp, three ways

I am taking part in the "Clean and Simple 2 Online Card Classes!
After being in doubt for a long time, I finally decided to subscribe this time.
And I can say that I didn't regret it one little minute.
I already learned so much, and besides that it is so much FUN!
For todays blog post I show you a part of the "homework" we got.
At day 5 we saw how to use one stamp in three different ways.
And it was our "task" to search in our own stamps and choose one stamp and use it in tree different ways.
I did!
Here are my cards.

This card is stamped with memento ink and the flowerstamp. Than colored it with Copic markers. The background is stamped with the sentiment wich is in the same set and Colorbox Ink.

The second card. For this card I first stamped a sentiment and embossed it in white. Than added Colorbox Ink Sky blue with a sponge. The same flowers are stamped with versamark and embossed in white. Used My Minds Eye paper for this card to stamp the flowers on. Than cut them out by hand and glued them on the background.

The third card is made with the same stamp again. Stamped with versamark and embossed in white on craft paper. Than colored it with Distress markers.
Stamped the sentiment on it.
Finished!
Three cards with the same flower!
This flower stamp set is by Hero Arts.
Hope you liked it!

Home made stamp

Here I show you a card made with a home made stamp.
Altough I have a lot of stamps, I did so because of a challenge at Moxie Fab World. After I read about this challenge I thought of a stamp wich you had to make for yourself, just as regular stamps are. But now I know that you also can think of objects in your house wich aren't stamps at all but wich you can use as a stamp. For instance things wich are used in kitchens, nice shaped objects that make great prints.
So, when I thought of what I would use, these foam shapes with sticky backgrounds came in my thoughts, wich I used for my work with children.
I searched around in my chest with drawers and yes, found some!
And here is the result.

And here you see how I did it.

This sheep has a sticky background. Did it on a clear block and added white paint to it with a brush.
The dragonflies are hand cut triangels from a piece of left over foam.
The sentiment is by Hero Arts. The craft paper is also by Hero Arts.
Thanks for looking!

Window Card

When my daughter was ill, I made a card for her to encourage her. I liked the card so I made another one, slightly different, to insert it in a challenge.
It is for a Challenge at Moxie Fab World: "Make a card with a wondow".
The window is cut out with my Cricut. In fact, this window has an apple shape.

And because of that shape, there is a message inside the card, wich matches with the outside.

You can read more about the challenge here:
http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2013/01/75-creative-card-challenges-week_8.html?m=1
The front panel is stamped with the envelope background stamp by Hero Arts.
The inside is stamped with the friends definition background stamp by Hero Arts.
And the apple is part of a stampset by Hero Arts and Basic Grey " Farmers Market".
Hope you like it!
