This is one of my new Autumn cards. I had a lot of fun making the background with the masking technique. And I love these pumpkin stamps by Hero Arts. I discovered a way of coloring these pumpkins wich is very easy to do. I used some light orange colored cardstock to stamp the pumpkins on and than add some shading with a little sponge and Color Box Ink. For the little leaves I started with light green colored cardstock and also add some shading with sponge and ink.
For the vines I used a very thin metal thread and than covered it with floral tape in a braun color. Hope you like it!

Besides some information, you can find fun links to other sites wich are important for this special event!
And here is my card:
Last friday I was so happy: I found the new paper pad "Aspen Frost" by Basic Grey. The striped paperand the left is from that paper pad. The snowflake is a die cut by Provo Craft for Cuttlebug and the little heart is also a die cut by Joy Crafts. The stamps used are by Hero Arts: S5069 Stunning Snowflakes and the sentiment C3159 Sending Love. The sketch used as a guide to make this card is given by Hero Arts on their blog.
Hope you like it!

Last week we went to Zuid-Limburg. It's a beautiful part of our country! There are a lot of trails for walking. We went there to walk trough the meadows between the cows, through the fruityards, over the hills....we had a wonderful time! There's a very small river called "De Geul". This is a bridge over that river.

As I promised last week I show you another fun project I made last week. When we went to a swimming pool a couple of weeks ago, my son bought an ice cream. When I saw the box of this ice cream I almost shouted of joy! It's a very beautiful box isn't it?! And I immediately saw some possibility's. So , of I went to the shop! I bought one too. And I can tell you...it's delicious. It has some fruit in it and it is covered with dark chocolate! Super yummy!
For this idea you only need a pencil, scissors and glue! Thats what I like about this kind of projects: it can be made with very little supplies. Of course it need to be cut apart at both sides. Then lay it down on a piece of paper you like, and trace a line around it. After that you can cut it out and glue it together as the original box was.

I used the orange variation of this Yillibean Soup Staples paper. I embellised it with some flowers, made with stamps by Hero Arts and a brad by Xenos.
