Ombre background

A while ago I watched a video of Jennifer McGuire where she made beautiful ombre backgrounds for her cards. She also used die cut sentiments wich go in the same flow with the ombre backgrounds: gorgeous results! Here you can find her blogpost:

It invited me so, to follow her examples!
Here is one of the cards I made.

Used a Hero Arts background. And a Simon Says Stamp die cut sentiment.

Fantastic Florals

This weeks theme of the SSS Wednesday Challenge was:" Fantastic Florals". For me that is the Altenew stamp set: "Beautiful day". With this stampset you can easely achieve a beautiful result.

I stamped the flowers with Versamark ink and embossed it with pearl embossing powder. Than colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
I will add this in the Challenge.

Happy Valentines Day!

For Valentines day I made a card with read, hearts and silver.

For the arrow I used my Cricut machine, and for the tag on the card I used my mini Minc machine. The little silver hearts are cut with a SSS die.
The sentiment is Hero Arts.
Hope everyone have a good Valentines Day.

New Year, Fresh Start

Happy New Year! 2017, a new year, a fresh new start. Hope it will bring the wishes of your heart. Last week we got some foggy weather and temps below zero, wich gives awesome pictures.

These photo's are taken not far from were I live. Our village is surrounded by meadows, and it is great to go out for a walk. Thats what we did on that particular day. I felt inspired by what I saw. At home I tried to translate what I saw on paper, using stamps and ink.

Here is another photo of that day. Hope you see what I meant by translate it to paper.

The stamps I used are Impression Obsession: F16235 Berry Stem. And two stamps from Magenta: M0732 and L0693. Inks from Colorbox and Versa Magic and some embossing to get that frosty look. And a white gel pen.
Thanks for visiting! Always much appreciated!!!

December

Today it's the first day of December already. The last month of 2016. Can you imagine? It is also a month ago since I last added a blogpost. So sorry! Was very busy. But this week I managed to make some Christmas cards. Finally! And here is one of them.

The poinsettia is Hero Arts. And so is the sentiment. The poinsettia is colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Behind it are some snowflakes cut with my Cricut machine.
