This card is made as "homework" for the Online Card Classes 4 : "Techniques made simple". Participating in these classes you learn all kind of fun and simple techniques to get better looking clean and simple cards.
Now, some of these techniques are really simple, but some of these techniques are a bit challenging anyway....



I used Versa Mark ink to stamp a background stamp and then added blue and gold embossing powder. The word is cut with my Cricut and also embossed with the same blue embossing powder.
Don't know were the stamp is from. Sorry!
The gold embossing powder is WOW!

Snow

When we woke up this morning, we got a little bit of snow. It is almost gone by now, because the sun shines and the temperatures got higher.
But it forced me to finally show the cards I made this month with the "snowy house" , a Hero Arts stamp I super love!






I always feel happy to use this stamp. I stamped it with Versa Mark, and embossed it with black embossing powder wich has a little shine. De trees are cut with my cricut and covered with "Frosted Lace" stickles; a technique by Lucy Abrams!

And a fun announcement: This evening I will host my second Hero Arts 90 minute scramble. Hope you will be there to join me! Thats so much appreciated!

Needed an anniversary card. So, I embossed two roses in white. Colored them with distress inks. The heart is a Hero Arts stamp. In the background a wood stamp by Impression Obsession.
Glued it all together with a Simon Says Stamp banner, stamped wit a Hero Arts sentiment. Easy, but fun result!

Thinking of You

A daughter of one of my friends is traveling to South America. She is the same age of my daughter. She will be there for a couple of months for fun and for study. So, I thought I would be nice to make her a card to let her know we are thinking of her and wish her luck.
