Tweet-heart
This card is made for my niece. She stayed at our place during Christmas vacation. We didn't see her for 3 years, so we were very happy to see her again. We got to know her a little bit better when we went out and talked. Listening to her story's was such a privilege. And I came to know that she is a lovely person, and the sun was going to shine when she entered our house. So thats why I made her this card.

Hugs
Today I like to share a card I made after a design by Shari Caroll. I really love her work! A couple of weeks ago I made a Christmas card with this design. It is very satifying! Always a good result!
This time I used paper by My Minds Eye with the name: "The Sweetest Thing", and it is really sweet ! Lovely paper! Stamps used here are Hero Arts. The hearts are cut with SSS dies. First inked a piece of watercolorpaper with distress inks, than cut the hearts out of it and finally covered it with Glossy Accents. Super nice, shiny result. Can recommend it!

New Year, New Life
I always feel happy when I hear that a new baby is born. Especially now at the beginning of this new year 2014. It felt as a blessing and a promiss when I heard a new baby girl and a baby boy are born in our church community. So I had to make them a card to welcome them.
In the Netherlands it is the custom to serve " beschuit met muisjes" when a new baby is born! A rusk with mice? Sounds fun. Don't know the name in english :) It's the pink/white and the blue/white sprinkles in the background. Mmmmm, delicious, can't get enough of it!
The onesies are stamped with Simon Says stamp images.
