Already very much used in the past.

But they are still satifying to work with!

This card is made for man.

Added some  glitter. Hope he likes it.

I am back with some Easter cards I made recently.

For this years Eastercards I used the super fun dies by Gummiapan. (Sweden)

I had so much fun with them.

And as a backdrop I used some frames from Penny Black stamps and Simon Says Stamp.

I kept the cards super simple.

The words on the cards say: “Vrolijk Pasen”.

And thats Happy Easter in dutch.

Christmas

Merry Christmas to all who read this!

This year I made a Christmas card with a new stampset by Simon Says stamp. I first had a try-out with several elements but finally decisief to stick with this design:

This was so fun to do. First stamped it with Oxide Inks . And then popped up the poinsettia in red.

Hearts

Its been a long time since I posted something here. Today I like to share a card I made for my daughter for Valentine’s.

The little hearts are cut with a little Altenews diecut. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp stampset called: “ Brushed Flowers”.

Being with you

A while ago I saw this fun card on Hero Arts blog, made by Michelle with new supplies and you can find it

here

After I saw this card I wanted to make one myself. But I don’t always order all the New stuff I see everywhere, although hard to resist.

So I went through my closet and found an older stampset by Hero Arts with bees, wich I used for my card.

The design is almost the same. But the bees and the sentiment is different. 
I really like the result.

Butterfly day

Made this card with a variaty of supplies by different compagnies.

There’s a stencil for the background by Simon Says  Stamp. Used Distress Ink for it and a new Simon Says Stamp blending Brush.

And yes, I have to practice more on the blending. 

The butterflies are heat foiled with silver. They are by Pinkfresh Studio. And the sentiment is heat embossed with white on black and is from a stampset by Altenew.

The gems and pearls are from “Lucy Little Things”.

Silhouet stamping

Today I like to share a card with the “Silhouette stamping” technique. I recently saw some stamping technique video’s by Gina K. designs and I loved it!

For the “Ink blending” in the background I used Distress Oxide inks. I am not good at it. Need a lot of practice.

And than stamped the image over it. So simple. Added a sentiment and done.

And oh ja… there was a stain under the word loved. But no one can see it this way.

And the “dew drops” are by “Lucy’s cards”.

Follow your dreams

One of my dreams is to dive in mixed media, wich I like to see, but I still felt too much impressed to try. But finally made a very small beginning. I don’t know if it can get the title mixed media. But I liked the result. Hope you too.
I used Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink. I used stamps, stencils, washi tape by Ranger,  white paint, Heidi Swap gold spray, a sentiment by Papertrey Ink, made a tag with Cricut, stamped it with a stamp by Crafty Individuals and finally added two butterflies by Hero Arts, from their Antique Engravings stampset.

Cozy up

“Cosy Up”. This is the name of a super sweet stampset by “Jane’s Doodles”. I have so much fun with it!
Here I used the technique “paper piecing “. So much fun! And isn’t the background paper perfect as “wallpaper”?!

The sweet little dof comes from a SSS stampset.

Birthday roses

Recently I made this card for a birthday in our family. The sentiment is dutch and says: Happy Birthday.

The background is an Hero Arts background stamp. The roses are made with Altenew dies. Colored with Watercolor paint. And added some sequins.

Sweet heart

When I recently saw a card made bij Debby Hughes I was totally in awe! So I had to try to make a similar card myself.

For my card I used a Simon Says Stamp stencil: Boho Circle and Distress Inks. For the heart I used a Altenew die and a Tim Holz stencil.

The word Love is a die from a set of word dies by Elizabeth Craft Designs. And the golden sentiment is also SSS.

Chocolate

I really love to give chocolate as a present for someones birthday. Wether it is in real life or as a card. These cards are made with a Simon Says Stamp stampset called: “Sweet Truffles”.

The background paper is just a piece of paper I found in my stash. De sentiment is foiled.

Colored with Copic Markers. Sentiment is foiled. And the background is a SSS background stamp.

Happy Easter

With this post I wish you “Happy Easter”!

I had so much fun creating Easter cards with the little stamps by “Cats on Appletrees”.

While stamping I saw little “stories” in my head. Than I had to try to stamp them. For example the card above. Dörte lost het brush while coloring eggs.

And than this one. Bodo brought flowers but it was sooo windy!

The reason for this chicken adventure is that I have 3 chicken. And I am enthousiastic about them!

Purple day

Today I like to share a card with a lot of Purple. Normally I don’t use purple that much, but this time I made a card with a lot of purple for someone who’s favorite color it is.

The flowers are a stamp by Hero Arts. And the sentiment is Altenew. Distress Inks are used for coloring. And added a lot of splatters. And some nuvo drops, to finish it of.

Hello

Made a card for a men. With a simple Hello greeting. 
Colored a piece of paper with Distress Ink. Used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to add the texture. And then used a sanding block to get the white spots.
The Hello greeting (Altenew) is cut from black cardstock and added a subtile layer glitter and glossy accents.

Added some glittery stars and hearts (Simon Says Stamp)

The card has reached its recipiënt already.

Happy Birthday

I needed some birthday cards for Januari. Nothing better than a birthday bouquet of flowers! For this card I used a Simon Says Stamp stampset:” Mom’s meadow”. I used the separate flowers and leaves.
The flowers and leaves are heat embossed and cut by hand, and arranged above the wish. That wish is made using Spellbinders heat foil system. 
Used “Abandoned Coral” Distress Ink and some pencils to color the flowers. Love all the shine!

I made this banner with a Free Download from the blog of Heidi Swapp. After I had printed the letters on a sheet of black paper I foiled it using my Minc machine.

Lantern

Last weeks I was busy making Christmas cards. One of them I will share here.
The little lantern is a die by “Simply Graphic”. I was searching for lanterns for ages. And finally found these. I also bought some greenery dies at “Simply Graphic” and they are just the right size and so elegant and stylish.

Added a Hero Arts sentiment, a little snowflake on the lantern, and some “snow” on the leaves and berries.

The Pine Branch in the background is a Impression Obsession stamp.
