Tulips

How I enjoy tulips! Their variety is great; wonderful colors and shapes!
Seeing them everywhere in our neigbourhood makes me happy.
Thats why I made a card with tulips again. I love the music background behind it.

The tulip stamp and the music background stamp are both Hero Arts stamps.

Here is a vieuw at our meadows.

And a card I made inspired by the sermon in church this morning.

Wedding Anniversary

Last week we had our wedding anniversary. We went out for a little celebration. We went to Bergen. It is a lovely village at the North Sea cost. First we went for a walk on the beach.

Together for already 29 years now! Through storms ( see our hair) and in sunny days ( see the blue sky) we still love each other!

And seeing our children still walking hand in hand makes me extremely happy!

Of course we had dinner together!

The beautiful house were we slept.

The present I got from my husband. And the card I made for him, what else?!

His and Hers

Today I want to share with you a couple of cards I made for the Online Card Class " His and Hers".
These cards are both made with a scalope circle stamp by Hero Arts: CG101 Striped Circle.
But I tried to give the card on the left a more manly look and the card on the right is a card for a woman, thats for sure, with the flowers and pink and violet colors!

The sailing boat and the birds are cut with my Cricut. The little sun is a Hero Arts stamp. It is from a stamp set : Clear design F. The pantsies on the right are stamped and than colored with Derwent Color Soft Pencils. You can really blend them very well!
The sentiments are from a Hero Arts stamp set: Thoughtful Messages.

Sympathy cards

Made these cards for the Online Card Class "His and Hers".
The homework was to make sympathy cards, one for her and one for him.
I followed the examples, given in class, very close.
But used my own stampsets and sentiments for it.

The card on the left is a more manly card and is made with leaves stamps by Inkadinkado. Used Hero Arts Mid Tone Inks for this spritzed with water.
The card on the right is for a woman who is ill for a while. So, I used fruit and a dutch sentiment wich says : Feel better soon. The fruit stamps are by Hero Arts. Stamped it with Color Box Ink wich is embossed with clear embossing powder. Than colored it with watercolor paint.
Both cards has strips of Basic Grey paper, with the name Konnichiwa.
Loved it to make these cards!

Online Card Class "His and Hers"

Today I want to share two cards with you, I made for the Online Card Class " His and Hers". The challenge is to make two cards, one for a man and one for a woman. A card for a woman always seems to be more easy. So, the Online Card Class "His and Hers" gives a lot of tips, trics, advise for making men's cards too. The teachers show you how you can easy change the colors and patterns from a more femail card to a more manly card.
This helps a lot! And here are my cards for day 1.
