Paper piecing

After watching a video by Jennifer Mcquire, about Paper Piecing, I felt enthusiastic  again. In the past it was one of my favorite techniques. But it was some time ago I used it. So, I took some paper pads from my closet and had a quick start, and made some cards. Here is one of them.
If you like to see more of Jennifers work go here:
The papers used are by Basic Grey.
The stamps are by Newton’s Nook Designs.

Snowdrops

My backyard is full of snowdrops, wich I love! It is a sign of spring is coming. Not long ago I found a die of snowdrops I couldn’t resist.
With this die I already made several cards, and this is one of them.

You can add as much snowdrops as you like, and make lovely arrangements.
The sentiment is dutch and says Happy Birthday. The background stamp is by Simon Says Stamp. The oval die I used for the patern paper is Hero Arts. Added some raindrops.
Just made a quick photo of snowdrops in the rain right at my backdoor.

And oh, you see the raster? There’s one of my roses and it has new shoots already! And it is only february...Can’t wait for it to give flowers. But that will take some months I think.

Thank you!

Another temporary job came to and end today. So, I made a card for my colleagues to thank them for their kindness.
Made with a Simon Says Stamp background stamp. And Altenew flower die, colored with Distress Inks, and some Gansai Tambi watercolor paint, in gold.
For the children I baked little muffins, decorated with creme, unicorn sprinkles, and a ladybug cut with my Cricut!
We had a cute little celebratation together.

Birds

Hello fellow crafters. I’m in love with dies lately. Try to make combinations with stamps. Today  I like to share some
cards with birds.

The first and the second card have birds stamps by Hero Arts. The third card had a bird stamp by Different Colors.

The first card has a branch die by MFT. And a flower cut by Cricut. The second card has a branch die by Hero Arts witch I already used a lot! Love it! And the third card has a branch die by Alexandra Renke. She is from Germany and sells wonderful dies! And stamps! And gorgeous tapes!
The first two sentiment dies I bought at Michaels. And the third is by Elisabeth Craft Designs.
For the designs I was inspired by someone on Instagram: “derkleineklecks”.
Hope I gave you all information  needed!
