Thank you presents

At the end of the school year I made some little presents to thank the teachers at the school were I worked at for some months. They helped me out on several occasions, showed me were I can find things I searched for, and were very supportive. I like to make little things to show my appreciation for them, so this is what I made.



This card says: Thanks very much. The theme is real "dutch". I see some connections with "Delfts blauw" :)



And for everyone there was a little present, with a tag wich says also : "Thanks so much". Do you see the little branch? It looks like the branch on the card.



I had a lot of fun making this!

Weddingcard

Love to show you a card for a wedding I recently made. I especially love the "Chloe stem" dies by Memory box. So fun to sponge them with colorbox!
The Unity stamp "Thoughts from the past" do made me think of Love letters.

Father's Day

This is the card I made for my father for father's day.
The rose is cut out with my Cricut. The wish is a stamp by Hero Arts.
The background is made with stamps with images wich has to do with gardening. My father loves gardening.


And here is the present we bought for him:
A beautiful red rose.



I immediately loved the vibrant red of this rose!
And finally I want to show you something I saw earlier this evening.



When I walked along this water I saw the trees reflected in it, like in a mirror. So I couldn't resist to make a photo of it!

Goodbye May

Today it is the first day of June. But before I am going on to enjoy spring and summer I want to say goodbye to May.
May is the month of celebrating our wedding anniversary. We mostly do that by going out for a long walk. This time we decided to go to a park around " Klein Stoutenburg", wich a is a small castle.


May also is the month of birdsnests and young birds.
This sweet guy we found in our garden.


May also is the month of pantsies according to me, I saw them everywere.
And I even found this little pantsy stamp on the Art Specially Event in Zeist.
I colored and cut a lot of them.


So, goodbye May, I enjoyed you a lot this time!

Cards

Last weeks I made some big cards for Church again. Because it isn't so easy to make good photo's of these big cards, I decided to make some detailed photo's of them.


I love this flower! The leaves are cut with my Cricut.


This flower is a tulip from Hero Arts Tulip digikit. It is colored with Copic Markers.

Kralingse Plassen

Last week, my husband and I went to the "Kralingse Plassen" for a walk.
Although it isn't far from our house, I've never been there before as far as I can remember. I was very surprised because it is a beautiful area.
It is actually a lake surrounded by a park, very close to the citycentre of Rotterdam. I took some photo's to give you an impression.


Here you see the skyline of Rotterdam.


Love to see the new green coming out of the dead wood.

This Mill is called "The star", as you can see here



We loved it to walk around the lake, and we promissed ourselves to go there more often!
